Some One Stop Me

So it seems I am feeling better now. After being sick for 3 months it has been great to have some energy again. What am I doing with that new energy you ask?

Getting crafty!!! I haven't been in the mood to do things like this in I don't know how long, and I can't stop!!! My latest project? A forest of trees to surround the candles on the dining room table.

At least it is keeping me busy while we are getting snow dumped on us. We are predicted to get over 12 inches by tomorrow!!! And did I mention that it stayed around 15 degrees out today!!! Brrrrrrrrrrr.....

ELFIE

I was crafty!!! A friend of mine told me about this elf that drops in on them every year and keeps and eye on her kids for Santa to make sure they are being good. He also gets into trouble at night while everyone is sleeping.

The girls having been talking about it for like two years. No matter how much they wanted an Elfie of their own it just wasn’t showing up. Well I read on the internet that if you make one and put it under the tree Santa might notice it and use his special Santa magic and turn it real.

I worked for like 6 hours on this thing. No pattern or anything as you can tell lol… and it paid off. Elfie is now making sure our kids stay well behaved and causing all kinds of mischief at night.

So far he has….

-Taken their toothbrushes and hid under the bathroom sink.

-Made a bed out of the girls’ Christmas stockings.

-Dumped a ton of markers out in the play room and drew a picture.

-Got out a box of cereal and a bowl and ate some, leaving a mess all over Anna’s chair and the table.

-Hid in Abby’s coat sleeve in hopes to go to school with her.

He has been a lot of fun and we are all glad he came to life. If you want an Elfie to visit you then you can either make one or send a letter off to Santa asking for one and he might show up.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Christmas Time!!!

We went to the annual Coast Guard Christmas party. What does that mean? All five of us were all dressed up and ready for a family photo session. Enjoy.
