AT THE CAUSEWAY

These pictures were taken in South West Harbor Maine. My Grandparents live just up the lane from this spot. How awesome is it that they can find this on a leisurely stroll down the road?

The kids all ran ahead of us on the road. When we cleared the trees this is what we saw.

The Causeway spans the entrance to Norwood Cove. It is quiet a sight to see the tide flow in or out. The water surges through the small opening at a pretty fast pace. There are all sorts of bottom dwellers eating off of the oceans riches along the rocks. Below is a seagull taking advantage of that.

Jennifer is here visiting for a while, and she asked if I wanted to go down town early one morning and get some pictures taken. I am so glad I did. I would have to say that this is pretty much the first time that I have looked at a picture of myself and actually liked it.

SWING SET

I don't know how this swing set holds all of these kids, but so far so good.

There wasn't a lot of wind getting through the trees into our yard, but with a little bit of running the kids could get the kite off of the ground for a bit.

CRESENT BEACH

Beach day!!!! Hurray!!!! It was a gorgeous day, not hot enough for the adults to go in the water, but the kids had a blast. We just sat up the beach a bit and tried to relax… They made sand castles and ran from waves. Collected rocks and shells, played with Bridget. We even had a picnic lunch. What fun!!!!
