A Morning (Afternoon) In Maine

Brandon and I won two tickets for a two hour sail on the Morning in Maine last winter. We finally got to go last Sunday. It felt so great to get out on the water again. I don't get the chance that often so I enjoyed it A LOT.
I was a beautiful day. Warm, sunny, and very windy. They couldn't even raise the main sail because of the wind.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Morning in Maine

The Abbie Burgess (Brandon's boat)

Dorky shot, but the one without my glasses was even worse. I was taking it with our big camera, so I will give myself that at least.

Breakwater Lighthouse.

No Main Sail

Pretty clouds.

Heading out!!

If you look really carefully you can see a butterfly to the right of the first post on the left hand side of the picture. We were pretty far off shore and it fluttered around us for a while.

Like I said it was really windy and I had to brace myself with my feet on the way back into the harbor.

I liked the lighting on this shot.

One of the first buoys worked when Brandon first arrived on the boat. It's in the harbor :)

Saying goodbye to his new friend.
