Pumpkin Patch
Yesterday the girls and I piled in the car with some friends and then went for a 40 minute car ride to a pumpkin patch.
Audrey was a bit scared on the wagon ride so she held my hand almost all the way to the pumpkin patch. Anna got mad if I tried to hold her arm, leg or anything so she wouldn't fall. Abby was having fun sitting next to the boys not scared at all. They are all so differant.
From left to right. Mason, Abby, Jacob, Audrey, and Anna.
I let the girls pick out their own small pumpkins. It was so funny watching them try to break them off of the vine. After I helped pick them, they then of course wanted a differant one. No such luck. I figured the owners wouldn't appreciate picked pumpkins lying around.
After finding the three small ones we headed down to the big pumpkins.
Abby really wanted to find her own big one so this is the one she found. It was a very odd shape, but I liked it. After helping them pick it Abby carried it all the way back to the wagon. What a strong girl!!!
I forgot to bring the back pack for Anna and was a bit worried, but she did great! She had so much fun running around and touching all the pumpkins. She only fell a couple of times, and there was some ruff terrain.
Audrey tried to carry the other one, but I had to help her out a bit.
After we got back to the farm stand I tried to get some photos of the girls sitting in the pumpkins. No such luck. It was 70 degrees out and the girls were dressed in turtle necks as you can see and they were not in the mood for photos. Especially Anna note the photo above.
After we paid we sat down on the lawn and had our picknick lunch. Every one had so much fun and the only thing bad was Audrey found a splinter in her hand on the way home.
